Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino Deploys Plasma Air’s Solution to Combat Smoke and Odor
Plasma Air International, a leading provider of commercial indoor air purification solutions, today announced that its bipolar ionization technology is now being used in Tachi Palace’s 30,000-square-foot Bingo Hall. The Bingo Hall — which allows patrons to smoke — will experience immediate IAQ benefits such as neutralized odors and a reduction of harmful toxins and particulate, without the use of fragrance or ozone.
Located in the heart of Central California, Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino caters to both smoking and non-smoking patrons. This decision demonstrates Tachi Palace’s initiative to improve both the guest and employee experience.

Tachi Place installed ionizers into four handling units to combat the smoke and odor, which increases during bingo sessions. This innovative solution manages and reduces the amount of smoke throughout a facility’s indoor environment by harnessing Plasma Air’s patented bipolar ionization technology. As contaminated air passes over the plasma tubes, millions of charged ions are generated. These ions travel throughout the duct system and into the Bingo Hall, attacking odorous and harmful pollutants at the molecular level.
